Prominent scientist with autism lauds our labor inclusion

Dr. Temple Grandin visits the “Sahé” plant, highlighting labor inclusion and animal welfare During her visit to Yucatán, the esteemed scientist with autism from the United States, who is considered one of the leading figures in animal welfare in livestock farming, toured the facilities of our “Sahé” processing plant to understand the processes and meet with employees with disabilities working there, who shared their work experiences with her. Joined by Jason McAlister, president of the international certifying body specialized in animal welfare, Cloverleaf Animal Welfare System, Dr. Grandin witnessed the presentation of the labor inclusion scheme for people with disabilities, given by the person in charge of this initiative, René Ledesma Abdala. In the course of the explanation, the zoologist born in Boston and current professor at the University of Colorado, highlighted the benefits for people with disabilities that include transportation services and promote an inclusive culture within our company, stating that this creates a favorable work environment.
