Pac-12 and Pacific Seafood Announce Multi-Year Partnership

SAN FRANCISCO – The Pac-12 has today revealed a long-term collaboration with Pacific Seafood, a family-run business committed to supplying the healthiest protein worldwide. Pacific Seafood, one of the nation's largest seafood companies, will now act as the Official Meat and Seafood Provider for the Pac-12 Conference. The collaboration commences with the forthcoming 2020 season and will involve Pacific Seafood as an official partner of the 2020 Pac-12 Football Championship Game, sponsored by 76®, and the 2021 Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament, sponsored by New York Life. Steve Tseng, executive vice president of sales for Pac-12 Networks, expressed his excitement about welcoming Pacific Seafood, a West Coast-based company, into the Pac-12 family and anticipates a prosperous partnership in the future. Pacific Seafood, founded and run in Oregon, will also gain event signage rights to the Pac-12 Football Championship Game and Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament, as well as marketing rights across Pac-12 Networks digital platforms. Moreover, due to its focus on environmental sustainability, Pacific Seafood will also act as the official partner of Pac-12 Team Green, the Conference’s sustainability platform. Bill Hueffner, Vice President of Marketing and Development for Pacific Seafood, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating that Pacific Seafood's commitment to reducing its environmental footprint aligns perfectly with the work being done by universities across the Pac-12 Conference. With this announcement, Pacific Seafood joins a host of leading brands and current partners of the Pac-12, including 76®, Dr Pepper, Gatorade, Nextiva, New York Life, GEICO, PrimeSport, Redbox, TicketSmarter and Unifi. The Pac-12 Conference, known as the “Conference of Champions,” has led the nation in NCAA Championships in 54 of the last 60 years, with 529 NCAA team titles overall.
