Coexca S.A. awarded by the French Culinary Academy for its contributions to gastronomy and social commitment
The esteemed French Culinary Academy awarded Coexca S.A. with a distinction for its contributions to both national and international gastronomy, its significance in Chile and globally in pork production, and its corporate social responsibility through the annual organization of the Traditional Pig Festival, held in August in the city of Talca for over a decade. Guillermo García, the CEO of Coexca S.A., accepted the award on behalf of the company from the Honorary President of the ACF and Grand Officer Commander Gerard Dupont, and the president of the Chile, Bolivia, and Peru delegation. The Academy is one of the most respected and long-standing institutions in the world, established in France in 1883. Álvaro Lois, a chef and treasurer of the French Culinary Academy's Chilean delegation, mentioned that this award is a token of appreciation from the renowned organization to Coexca S.A. and its CEO for their contributions to global and national cuisine. He highlighted that this is the first time such an honor has been bestowed in Chile by the institution on a pork production and exporting company. Meanwhile, Guillermo García, the CEO of Coexca S.A., expressed his gratitude for the recognition from one of the most prestigious and historic culinary academies in the world, which includes the participation of Chile's most distinguished chefs. “We are incredibly proud, honored, and flattered to receive such a significant acknowledgment from one of the world's most prestigious culinary academies, where Chile's most renowned chefs are involved,” he stated.
