Update on Latest PCR Test Results (2nd May 2020)

On 2nd May 2020, Litera Meat announced the results of the recent PCR tests conducted on employees who had previously tested seropositive. Of the 66 employees tested on Tuesday, 28th April, two have been confirmed as COVID-19 positive. Consequently, from the PCR tests conducted on 171 employees, only 13 have tested positive. The company is still awaiting the results of the PCR tests conducted on Wednesday, 29th April and Saturday, 2nd May. However, the trend suggests a 1.4% positivity rate from the total of 931 employees tested. Litera Meat is working closely with health authorities and will conduct further serologic and/or PCR tests to accurately assess the situation.
