Thai Union has been honored with the AMCHAM CSR Award for the second year in a row.

Bangkok, November 24, 2022 – Thai Union Group PCL has earned a spot on the AMCHAM CSR Recognition list for the second year in a row, in acknowledgment of its ongoing dedication to promoting Healthy Living and Healthy Oceans. This recognition underscores the company's commitment to generating sustainable economic and social value, an honor bestowed by The American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (AMCHAM). The award of AMCHAM CSR Recognition was received by Adam Brennan, Thai Union's Group Director of Sustainability, on behalf of the organization. The presentation was made by U.S. Ambassador Robert F. Godec and AMCHAM President Jeffrey Nygaard during the 2022 AMCHAM CSR Excellence Recognition Award Ceremony, which took place at the Conrad Bangkok. Additionally, Thai Union was in the running for the AMCHAM Special Award due to its innovative Green Giving Project. This project is a testament to the company's commitment to environmental sustainability, focusing on a circular economy approach to address the issue of ocean plastic and landfill waste. By collecting and upcycling plastic waste gathered by its employees, Thai Union has played a pivotal role in converting these materials into essential items for the medical and waste picking communities, especially critical during the pandemic. This initiative not only tackles the pressing problem of plastic waste but also promotes circularity, ensuring that resources are reused in a meaningful way.
