Robbie's involvement at the Lochgilphead swimming pool

Last Thursday, Robbie Renwick made a visit to the Dolphins club in Lochgilphead, potentially inspiring the next generation of Olympic swimmers. At the young age of 16, Robbie was part of the Scotland team that competed in the 2006 Commonwealth games in Melbourne. His career progressed to him becoming a Commonwealth champion in the 200m freestyle, a World Championship gold medalist, and ultimately, a silver medalist at the Rio Olympic games. The 29-year-old shared valuable insights about techniques, training, nutrition, and the importance of enjoying the sport. He also spent time training with the young swimmers in the pool. The event was a great success and was warmly received by both the children and the staff. Cooke Aquaculture was pleased to support this initiative. The Dolphins club in Lochgilphead, which is entirely volunteer-run, plays a crucial role in the community.
