Renewed Balmoral Show sponsorship by ABP for three more years
ABP has confirmed a renewed partnership with the Balmoral Show for an additional three years. Operating two facilities in Northern Ireland, in Lurgan and Newry, ABP specializes in processing beef and lamb. It stands out as the sole meat processing sponsor at the Platinum level for the region's premier agricultural event. George Mullan, the Managing Director of ABP Northern Ireland, shared his thoughts on the extension of the partnership through 2022, stating, “ABP is dedicated to processing farm quality assured beef and lamb, sourced from around 5,000 farming families. For two decades, the Balmoral Show has been a pivotal venue for us to connect with our suppliers and customers. Our continued sponsorship of the Balmoral Show is a testament to our commitment to nurturing a sustainable local agricultural economy. This event provides a perfect platform for dialogue with our suppliers and important stakeholders about the future of the red meat industry in Northern Ireland. We are eager to exchange insights and ideas.” In response to ABP's ongoing support, Billy Martin, the President of the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society (RUAS), expressed his gratitude, stating, “The RUAS is thrilled to have ABP back on board as Platinum Sponsors for the Balmoral Show. As a leading entity in the agri-food sector, ABP's sponsorship will once again encompass the Limousin, British Blonde, and Charolais cattle categories, in addition to the Texel, Suffolk, Beltex, and Interbreed Championship sheep categories at this year's event. The Balmoral Show, in collaboration with Ulster Bank, is set to take place at Balmoral Park, Lisburn, from Wednesday, May 13th to Saturday, May 16th, 2020. Visitors can find ABP at stand No. B5, Park Central East. For the most recent updates and information on the Balmoral Show, please visit www.balmoralshow.co.uk.
