Multiple wins at the Annual Green Awards again for ABP
ABP, a premier agri-business entity in Europe, emerged as a standout at the Green Awards ceremony held on February 20th in Dublin, securing two prestigious recognitions. The firm was honored with the Green Large Organisation of the Year award and also received the Sustainable Water Achievement Award, underscoring its leadership and commitment to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship. Sustainability is a cornerstone of the operations at ABP Food Group. The company garnered acclaim for its superior water management practices across its processing facilities at the Carbon Trust Sustainability Conference in London, in October 2017. ABP Food Group set a global benchmark by being the first to achieve quadruple certification from the Carbon Trust for a third consecutive time in 2017. This certification is a globally recognized endorsement of an organization's environmental impact, assessing its energy use, carbon dioxide emissions, water usage, and waste production. The Carbon Trust, which has collaborated with ABP for more than six years, acknowledges the company's relentless pursuit of sustainability excellence.
