Michael Lawson an employee of ABP Food Group Clones has been crowned The Voice of Ireland.

Michael Lawson an employee of ABP Food Group Clones has been crowned The Voice of Ireland. The 19 year old meat packer from Clones piped the other three finalists to the post with his stunning renditions of Superman by Five for Fighting and 7 Years by Lukas Graham. Una Healy told him “I would definitely buy your album if you had one. I would listen to you all day, it’s time to start believing in yourself. I low how you connect with a song”. Michael was truly delighted with his win he said “I only wanted to turn one chair in the blind auditions and I managed to do a lot more than that and that’s amazing to me. I feel amazing. It has all just hit me at once and it is astounding that I have gotten this far. I only ever wanted to see if I could make it in the music industry. It’s hard to believe that I have a sing out and I would love to hopefully get a number one”. Michael has expressed his gratitude for all the support he has received he said “I would like to thank ABP Clones for getting my name out there during my time on the show and for their endless support”. ABP would like to wish Michael the very best of luck in his singing career.
