Community BBQ hosted by ABP Food Group WA Turner

The ABP Food Group WA Turner team participated in The Big Lunch on June 7th, a community-building initiative spearheaded by Kersti aimed at fostering a sense of unity and closeness among local residents. WA Turner contributed to the event by hosting a barbecue that was enjoyed by both the community members and County Councillors Barbara Cobbold and Chris Woodward. The attendees from the Showfields and Ramslye neighborhoods delighted in consuming Debbie and Andrews sausages, alongside a host of entertainment options provided at the gathering. This included performances by the Applause Rural Touring company, face painting, and an assortment of games. Jayne Siggery, the HR Manager at ABP WA Turner, remarked: "The purpose of this event was to unite the Showfields and Ramslye communities, and as we are a part of this community, we were eager to participate, to familiarize ourselves with the local residents, and to showcase a bit of what we do here. Everyone had a wonderful time."
