ABP Ireland achieves 21 accolades at the Great Taste Awards

ABP Ireland has been honored with 21 stars at the esteemed Great Taste 2017 Awards in London, an event organized by the Guild of Fine Food. Recognized as the largest and most credible food and drink awards program globally, Great Taste's seal of approval is highly sought after worldwide. This year, over 12,366 premium products were evaluated by a panel of 500 experts in the industry, resulting in 4,347 products being awarded star ratings. ABP Ireland stood out by securing eighteen awards in total, with three of its products earning two-star accolades: the Tipperary Gold Dry Aged Certified Irish Angus Rib Eye Joint, Platinum Prime Certified Irish Shorthorn Rib Eye Steaks, and Lomo Extra Maturado. Additionally, the company was awarded 14 one-star ratings for a variety of products, including the Platinum Prime Certified Irish Dexter Striploin Steaks, Tipperary Gold Dry Aged Certified Irish Hereford Striploin Joint, and several others. Eoin Ryan, the European Sales Manager for ABP Food Group, expressed his enthusiasm over the achievement, likening the star awards to the Oscars of the food and drink industry. He highlighted this recognition as a testament to their Ultra Tender process, which has made ABP beef a choice in over 100 Michelin-starred restaurants worldwide. Ryan emphasized that winning twenty-one star awards for eighteen products is a testament to the dedication and quality upheld by their teams in Ireland.
