ABP Food Group employee reaches 'The Voice' finals

Viewers of RTÉ's vocal talent series "The Voice" are becoming increasingly familiar with a recurring contestant, Michael Lawson, an employee at ABP Food Group, who has been captivating audiences with his performances. During the initial blind auditions, three of the judges were impressed enough to turn their chairs for Michael, but he ultimately decided to join the team led by the well-liked judge, Niall Breslin, also known as Bressie. Under Bressie's guidance, Michael advanced past the battle rounds and smoothly made his way into the quarterfinals with a live performance at the Helix in Dublin. In the semifinals, Michael became the first contestant to secure a spot in the final round through the public vote. Colleagues at ABP Food Group in Clones have been avidly following Michael's journey, tuning into the live broadcasts weekly. John McMurry, the Site Manager at ABP Clones, expressed the collective pride of the staff: “We're all watching Michael's performances on the show and are incredibly proud of what he's achieved. Seeing him excel on stage is thrilling, and we're all rooting for him to go all the way in the competition!” Michael, who has been passionate about singing for many years, particularly enjoys soul music and believes it to be his forte. Reflecting on his experience on the show, Michael shared, “Participating in this show has been an amazing journey for me. Being selected by the judges and having the opportunity to work with Bressie has been fantastic. The support from my colleagues and friends at ABP Food Group has been overwhelming, and knowing they're behind me every step of the way is incredibly motivating as I progress in the competition.”
