ABP engages in charitable digging initiatives
In our previous newsletter, we highlighted the philanthropic endeavors of various teams across the UK, all aimed at supporting Zach Kilkenny after his Moyamoya disease diagnosis in August of the previous year. The fundraising efforts have been incredibly successful, with a total of £30,742 collected so far. We're excited to share more about the remarkable contributions made to assist one of our community members! The Shrewsbury team embarked on an ambitious 'Tour de ABP,' cycling a total of 1,669 miles and burning a whopping 45,519 calories in the process! Over in Tunbridge Wells, Clive 'Hollywood' Douglas and Maria 'Berry' Borer were introduced as the judges for the esteemed Great Turnerville Bake Off. Not to be outdone, Team Ellesmere participated in a half marathon in September, raising £1,357.57, while their canteen staff hosted a cake sale and raffle, bringing in an additional £285. The ABP Doncaster team also contributed significantly with a charity football match, a 92-mile cycling event, and a bake sale. Furthermore, teams throughout the company embraced the holiday spirit by wearing their festive sweaters on National Christmas Jumper Day in December. Every single penny collected is directed towards Zach's continuous treatment. To contribute to Zach's fund, please visit http://www.gofundme.com/dpy8r8.
