ABP and Bord Bia promote Irish beef in Italy
ABP and its prominent Italian client, Fileni, have recently supported Bord Bia during two of its Meat Academy events held in Italy. The Meat Academy, organized by Bord Bia, is designed to educate and train chefs, agents and their representatives, butchers, and restaurateurs. The initiative aims to enhance the understanding of Irish meat among the public through various activities including presentations, discussions, workshops, and notably, tastings of high-quality Irish beef. The workshops attracted nearly 200 butchers and food professionals who were introduced to ABP's ultra-tender process and learned about the qualities of prime Irish beef. Italy, being the 4th largest market for Irish beef exports with transactions exceeding €160 million, underscores the importance of these events.
