On June 12, 2017, in Springdale, Arkansas, Tyson Foods, Inc. (NYSE: TSN) announced the appointment of Scott Spradley, the former Chief Information Officer of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), as their new Chief Technology Officer, effective from June 26\. This move is in line with Tyson Foods' strategic emphasis on technology. Spradley will join Tyson Foods' executive leadership team and will report directly to Tom Hayes, the President and CEO. He will be responsible for leading the company's IT team and will oversee the implementation of new technologies and systems that facilitate growth. He also held various leadership roles at Intel Corporation, including the director of greater Asia shared services. Spradley earned his bachelor's degree in political science from San Diego State University. Devin Graham, who was serving as the interim chief technology officer, will continue with the company as vice president, technology and support, and will assist Spradley in transitioning into his new role.
