Tyson Foods Achieves Highest Ratings for LGBTQ Equality

Firm Attains Maximum Rating on 2018 Corporate Equality Index Springdale, Ark. – Nov. 9, 2017 – Tyson Foods, Inc. (NYSE: TSN) is delighted to announce that it has achieved a flawless score of 100 percent on the 2018 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). This index is a nationwide benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices concerning workplace equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) individuals, conducted by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. Tyson Foods is among the 609 major U.S. businesses that also received top scores this year. "We take pride in our diverse workforce and believe it strengthens our company. Tyson Foods met all of the CEI’s criteria and was recognized as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.
