# Thomas Palm departs from Cermaq

Throughout his tenure at Cermaq, Thomas has gained extensive experience in the financial sector, and his professional growth has been remarkable. He began his journey with the Cermaq Group as a Senior Analyst for Business Development in 2010, before transitioning to Cermaq Norway as a Business Developer in 2013\. He then served a six-month term as Finance Director in Chile. In 2014, Thomas returned to Norway and assumed the role of CFO for Cermaq Norway. By 2016, at the age of 33, he had become the CFO of the Cermaq Group. "Thomas has made significant contributions to shaping Cermaq into what it is today. While I would have liked him to continue with us, I respect his decision to broaden his horizons and explore other industries. I wish him all the best in his future endeavors," says Geir Molvik. "The decision was not easy, but after several exciting years at Cermaq, I am eager to challenge myself in a new industry and a new organization. It has been a rewarding experience to work with so many skilled and wonderful people at Cermaq, and I will miss all my wonderful colleagues across Cermaq and Mitsubishi," says Thomas Palm.
