ABP Food Group, a global entity in the meat, pet food, and renewable energy sectors, has broadened its footprint in Poland by securing a new production site in Tykocin, located in the eastern part of the country. This acquisition, from the Polish company Sklodowsky, elevates ABP's annual production capabilities in Poland to a potential 250,000 cattle. The company's journey in Poland commenced in 2011 with the purchase of a facility in Pniewy, followed by an expansion in 2013 with another facility in Klosowice. With the latest expansion, ABP's workforce in Poland will approach 600, reflecting the company's substantial investment in the nation and elevating its processing facilities to some of the most advanced in Europe. Operations at the newly acquired ABP Tykocin have commenced, serving a roster of leading retailers and food service companies across Europe. The beef processed at this site is destined for several key markets, including Poland, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Slovenia, and Lithuania.
