Lamb Weston welcomes new CEO

Lamb Weston (LW) is delighted to declare that Marc Schroeder will assume the role of CEO starting January 1st, 2021, succeeding Bas Alblas who will step down from the company effective November 1st, 2020. Marc, a Dutch citizen, has amassed considerable experience working with top-tier multinational corporations such as Procter & Gamble and predominantly PepsiCo, where he served in various leadership capacities in operational, commercial, joint venture, and corporate roles. His professional journey has taken him to the Netherlands, Russia, USA, and most recently, Switzerland. Throughout his career, Marc has undertaken diverse roles that have equipped him well for his new role at Lamb Weston VOF. His extensive expertise and global experience in both emerging and established markets will greatly benefit the LW organization. The company views his leadership style and personality as an excellent match for the organization.
