Easter is a time of joy that captures the hearts of many, and the people of Ellesmere are no different. This year, they initiated a project aimed at benefiting the community, with employees from various departments contributing a variety of Easter treats. These donations were distributed to several local organizations, including Bryn Melyn Care for Young Children, The Derwen College in Gobowen, The Swanmere Daycare Centre in Ellesmere, and the Ellesmere/Oswestry area Food Bank. In addition to this, the Easter initiative featured various fundraising activities, such as an Easter-themed bake-off titled "Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice" and a raffle. The proceeds from both the bake-off and the raffle are being given to Claire Jones to support her as she trains for a half marathon, with the goal of raising funds for Alzheimer’s research.
