In early May cyclists participating in the Cycle Against Suicide event visited the Presentation Secondary School in Thurles, Co. Tipperary before cycling another 100km towards Dublin. The cyclists gave inspiring speeches about mental health and the importance of knowing that it is okay not to feel at your best and that, once you reach out, there is someone to talk to if you need.

After the assembly, the participating cyclists, students and staff were served burgers provided by ABP Cahir. Richard Bourke, CPM Manager in ABP Cahir presented the burgers to the school on behalf of the plant.

Kildangan GAA Centenary Cycle – ABP Nenagh sponsored the Kildangan GAA Centenary Cycle this April. Cyclists had the option of choosing the 10km, 25km, 50km, or the challenging 100km for 100 years cycle. Over 130 cyclists chose the 100km route with some finishing their cycle in less than four hours. Among these 100km cyclists was Liam Chadwick, Procurement Manager at ABP Nenagh. All proceeds from the event will go to TLC4CF – Tipperary, Limerick, Clare for Cystic Fibrosis – and the Kildangan GAA club.
