# Company recertifies standards in Quality and Food Safety Management Systems

After a thorough process, Coexca S.A. successfully renewed its certifications for ISO 9001:2015 and HACCP NCh 2861 standards, which pertain to Quality Management Systems and Food Safety, respectively. Additionally, the company passed the follow-up audit for the ISO 14001:2015 standard, which focuses on Environmental Management Systems. The renowned consulting firm Bureau Veritas was tasked with reviewing the procedures for each mentioned standard to confirm both the recertifications and the follow-up audit. Gloria Gutiérrez, Head of the Quality Assurance Department at Coexca S.A., mentioned that the consulting firm found no issues during their review process, highlighting the significance of this achievement as it involves various departments within the company. “Once again, the company has been endorsed by experts for its management and the safety of the food it processes and markets, in accordance with the regulations for the industry, positioning itself as a leader in the certification of standards that ensure the quality of its processes and products,” she stated. She also appreciated the collective effort of everyone at the company, which led to this achievement. “I want to acknowledge the contribution of all our employees to this achievement. Being recertified is a result of teamwork across different departments,” she said. Isaí Moya, Head of the Risk Prevention and Environmental Department, remarked that the recertifications and the successful follow-up audit are excellent news, as they reflect Coexca S.A.'s commitment to quality, food safety, and environmental protection. “These recertifications and the successful follow-up audit demonstrate Coexca S.A.'s genuine and concrete commitment to quality, food safety, and environmental protection,” he commented.
