This week, the Department of Agriculture hosted the inauguration of the Teagasc / Irish Farmers Journal Better Farm Programme, attended by notable figures including Jonathan Forbes from Kepak, Aidan Murray representing Teagasc, Finbarr McDonnell of ABP, Justin McCarthy of the Irish Farmers Journal, the Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney, Paul Nolan from Dawn Meats, Adrian Taheny of FBD, Matt Dempsey, the editor of the Irish Farmers Journal, and Dr. Frank O’Mara from Teagasc.
