Chris boasts an extensive career spanning over three and a half decades in the retail and consumer service sectors across the UK and Ireland. In 2019, he concluded his fifteen-year tenure as the CEO of Musgrave, a company renowned for managing the Supervalu, Centra, and Musgrave marketplace brands in Ireland. Musgrave, rooted in Ireland, expands its operations into the retail and food service industries in Spain as well. Before his time at Musgrave, Chris held the position of CEO at Mothercare plc, served as the Group Finance Director at Storehouse plc, and undertook various roles at PizzaHut and ASDA. He is a certified chartered accountant, a member of the Institute of Grocers, and has been recognized as a fellow by the Royal Society of Arts. Upon the announcement of his appointment, Larry Goodman expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "It gives me great pleasure to welcome Chris Martin to the ABP Food Group Board.
