# Cermaq broadens management team with new CFO appointment

Ole Martin Grimsrud, aged 43, has been named the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Cermaq, effective from September 1\. Prior to this, he served as the CFO at Aker Solutions, holding various leadership roles since 2012\. Grimsrud earned his Master's degree in Industrial Economics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and has previous experience with Elkem and Norske Skog. He expressed his excitement about joining Cermaq, a global leader in the aquaculture industry, and contributing to its growth and success. Geir Molvik, CEO of Cermaq, expressed his confidence in Grimsrud's abilities and the value he brings to the team. From September 1, Erlend Reiten will assume a new role in the executive team as Chief Transformation Officer (CTO). Reiten is currently the acting CFO at Cermaq and previously served as Head of Strategy. Before joining Cermaq in 2016, he spent five years at The Boston Consulting Group. Reiten holds a Master's degree in Economics from The University of Oxford. Molvik expressed his confidence in Reiten's ability to drive the company's strategic ambitions, particularly in operational standards and the application of new technology.
