Since announcing the partnership in 2014, ABP UK and Leeds City College have offered students invaluable experience in the meat and supply chain industry. Since last October, ABP has employed three students from Leeds City College and helped several of its students achieve their level two and three butchery apprenticeships.

Lectures from industry professionals

Recently, industry professionals from ABP showed their support for the college again by delivering a guest lecture to students at the college – providing a practical demonstration on how to use the newly commissioned, state-of-the-art boning machine that has been installed at the college.
