ABP Ireland sponsor Farm Safety Award at the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition.

ABP Ireland promoted Farm Safety at this year’s BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition. The exhibition is the largest of its kind in Europe and is the ultimate science and technology fair for second level students across Ireland, where over 500 students enter science projects with a view to becoming Ireland’s Young Scientist of the Year. ABP sponsored a prize for the best Farm Safety project which was won by Jack Nagle, from Killorglin Community College in Kerry. Jack’s project was entitled Tractor Safe Lock and his initiative is hoped will help reduce the danger on a farm as the handbrake on a tractor would automatically be put in place even if a farmer forgot to do so.
